Welcome to JustAppoint (“App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the JustAppoint mobile application, website, and related backend services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the Services.

  • Personal information you provide: name, email address, phone number, business name (if applicable), appointment details (customer name, service selected, date/time), messages sent through the App, and any other information you voluntarily provide.
  • Automatically collected information: device type and model, OS version, app version, IP address, log data, push notification token, and usage analytics (feature usage, session time).
  • Sensitive information: We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health records, biometric identifiers, political or religious beliefs, account passwords).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts and business profiles.
  • Provide appointment booking, confirmations, and reminders.
  • Enable WhatsApp-based communication where you choose to use it.
  • Send push notifications and important service messages.
  • Provide support, improve features, monitor usage, and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Legal Basis (Where Applicable)

We process personal data on lawful bases such as your consent, performance of a contract (to provide the Services), legitimate interests (service improvement, security), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: trusted third parties that operate or support the App (cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, push notifications etc). They are contractually required to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law or to respond to lawful requests.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with protections for user data).

We retain personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required by law.

Your information may be stored and processed in countries outside your residence. By using the App you consent to such transfers; we apply appropriate safeguards to protect transferred data.

9. Push Notifications & Marketing Communications

With your consent, we may send push notifications for appointment reminders, service updates, feature announcements, and promotional offers. You may opt out of promotional push notifications by adjusting device notification settings or disabling them in the App settings. Essential service notifications (e.g., booking confirmations) may still be sent even if promotional notifications are disabled.

We use third-party push notification services to deliver notifications; those providers may process device identifiers only for message delivery. We do not sell or share your personal data for third-party advertising.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, withdraw consent, or object to processing. To exercise your rights contact support@justappoint.app.

11. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn a child has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly. Contact us if you suspect a child’s data has been collected.

12. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party services (for example, WhatsApp). We are not responsible for their privacy practices—please review their policies separately.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification or by updating the Effective Date above. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
